[06-19-2026] Orange County, CA – Bicyclist Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash in Santa Ana

A 60-year-old bicyclist, identified as Francois P., was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Santa Ana on Friday evening, June 19, 2026.

According to the Santa Ana Police Department, the incident occurred around 6:15 p.m.  at the intersection of Standard Avenue and Warner Avenue.

Officers, along with the Orange County Fire Authority, responded to the scene and found the bicyclist with severe injuries. Despite life-saving efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators reported that the victim was riding westbound through the intersection when he was struck by a vehicle that fled immediately after the collision.

The Santa Ana Police Department’s Collision Investigation Unit is handling the investigation.
