[06-19-2026] San Diego County, CA – One Injured in Rollover Crash on SR-76 at Via Monserate

One driver was injured following a two-vehicle rollover collision on State Route 76 in San Diego County on Friday morning, June 19, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at around 11:46 a.m. in the westbound lanes of State Route 76 at the intersection of Via Monserate.

Authorities reported that a silver Toyota 4Runner and a dark-colored Volkswagen Jetta were involved in the collision. The 4Runner reportedly ran a red light before the impact, which caused it to roll over multiple times before landing upright.

Officials stated that the female driver of the 4Runner was transported to a hospital with minor injuries and a complaint of pain. The driver of the Volkswagen Jetta was not transported, and impairment was not suspected.

The California Highway Patrol continues to investigate the cause of the crash.
