[06-22-2026] San Bernardino County, CA – Collision Involving Multiple Semi-Trucks Near Barstow

A collision involving multiple semi-trucks occurred on northbound Interstate 15 near Barstow on Monday afternoon, June 22, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported shortly before 3 p.m. when a semi-truck rear-ended another big rig near the Old State Route 58 off-ramp.

Emergency crews found multiple trucks involved, and one driver was trapped inside a cab, requiring rescue.

Authorities reported that one of the vehicles was a tanker carrying approximately 4,500 pounds of toxic material. The tanker was not leaking, but additional precautions were taken. Heavy-duty tow trucks and the San Bernardino County Office of Emergency Services assisted at the scene.

The extent of injuries has not been released. CHP continues to investigate the cause of the collision.
