One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 101 near Pismo Beach on Tuesday evening, June 23, 2026.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 11:05 p.m. on southbound Highway 101 at San Luis Bay Drive.
The collision left a black Toyota Tacoma resting on top of a gray BMW sedan, blocking lanes and scattering debris across the roadway.
Authorities later confirmed that one person died as a result of the crash. Additional details regarding the victim have not been released.
CHP continues to investigate the cause of the collision.
