[06-24-2024] At Least One Person Injured After Multi-Vehicle Crash on Carpenter Road in Modesto At least one person was injured after a multi-vehicle crash in Modesto on Monday evening, June 24, 2024. 

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened around 6:50 p.m. on Carpenter Road near Maze Boulevard. 

The total number of vehicles involved was not immediately known, but police confirmed that at least one person was injured in the crash. There is no word yet on the extent of the injuries or the condition of the injured victim. The name, age, and gender of that person were not provided as of this writing. 

It is unknown what caused the collision. Drugs, alcohol, and speeding were being investigated as possible factors. Traffic delays are expected near the intersection.
