[06-24-2026] Contra Costa County, CA – Multi-Vehicle Crash Results in Injury and Arrest in Pleasant Hill

One person was hospitalized, and another was taken into custody following a multi-vehicle crash in Pleasant Hill, Contra Costa County, on Wednesday night, June 24, 2026.

According to authorities, the crash occurred at around 10:11 p.m. at the intersection of Pleasant Hill Road and Grayson. At least three vehicles sustained heavy damage, with debris scattered across the roadway.

Witnesses reported that a heavily damaged Infiniti had traveled across the intersection before striking additional vehicles. Police later stated they had been searching for the driver involved in connection with a prior domestic violence incident earlier in the evening. The driver was located after the crash and arrested on multiple charges, including reckless driving.

One man was transported to the hospital in handcuffs, while another person was also taken for medical treatment. The driver’s identity has not been released.

Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
