At least one person was injured following a two-vehicle crash in Corning on Tuesday evening, June 25, 2024.
According to the authorities, the vehicular accident occurred near Solano Street and Toomes Avenue.
The circumstances surrounding the collision remain unclear, but authorities said that the wreckage nicked the exterior of the nearby Rancho Grande Mexican restaurant. Several plants around the area were also squashed.
It is not immediately known how many people in total were affected by the incident. At least one person, only described as a female, was confirmed yet to have suffered injuries. She was transported to a local hospital to receive treatment.
The cause of the collision is still under investigation. Authorities are currently figuring out if alcohol, drugs, or speed played a role.
