[07-01-2024] San Diego County, CA – One Person Hospitalized After Suspected Two-Vehicle DUI Collision in Fallbrook

One person was hospitalized after a suspected two-vehicle DUI collision in Fallbrook, San Diego County, on Monday night, July 1, 2024.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the traffic crash happened at about 8:56 p.m. at Ammunition Road and South Mission Road.

Investigators said that an unspecified vehicle that may have run a red light struck another car occupied by a man and his daughter. One person was sent to the hospital following the incident, but authorities did not specify if the patient was the driver of the car that started the crash or from the other car that was struck.

None of the parties involved were identified publicly yet. Their present conditions were also undisclosed.
