A bicyclist was killed in a collision with a vehicle in Chico late Thursday morning, July 2, 2026.
According to authorities, the crash occurred around 11:27 a.m. at the intersection of Cohasset Road and Ryan Avenue.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and attempted lifesaving measures, but the bicyclist was pronounced dead from their injuries. The identity of the victim has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.
