At least one person was injured following a multi-vehicle collision in Eastvale on Wednesday morning, July 3, 2024.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 6:55 a.m. along the northbound Interstate 15 near Highway 60.
Authorities stated that the collision involved three unspecified vehicles, but the total number of people affected by the crash remains unclear. Emergency personnel performed an extrication procedure on the person who was reportedly trapped in one of the vehicles.
The victim, whose name, age, and gender were not disclosed, was transported to a local area hospital with moderate injuries. Their current condition was not provided. As of this writing, it is unclear if anyone else was injured.
The cause of the crash was not yet determined. Drugs, alcohol, and speeding are being investigated as possible factors in the incident.
