A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Sacramento’s Natomas area early Monday morning, July 7, 2025.
According to the Sacramento Police Department, emergency medical services were dispatched at approximately 1:54 a.m. to the intersection of Del Paso Road and Town Center Drive.
Officers arrived to find a man lying in the roadway. The vehicle involved had fled the scene before police arrived.
A search of the area led to the discovery of the suspected vehicle, and one person was detained in connection with the incident.
The crash remains under investigation.
