[07-09-2025] Woman Arrested After Hitting Worker and Leading Deputies on Pursuit Ending at UC DavisA woman was arrested after allegedly hitting an In-N-Out employee with her vehicle and leading Sacramento County deputies on a high-speed pursuit that ended at UC Davis on Wednesday, July 9, 2025.

According to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office, the incident began around 6:07 p.m. at the In-N-Out located on Alta Arden Expressway, where a woman reportedly struck an employee with her vehicle in the drive-thru. Authorities later stated the impact was not believed to be intentional.

When deputies arrived, the woman attempted to flee, scraping an unoccupied sheriff’s patrol car and hitting another vehicle in the process. She then led deputies on a pursuit spanning over 20 miles, which included downtown Sacramento, Highway 50, and the Yolo Causeway.

The chase ended at 7:20 p.m. in parking lot 56A near the Genome and Biomedical Sciences Facility at UC Davis. No injuries to the driver or law enforcement officers were reported.

The suspect was booked on charges including felony vandalism, resisting arrest, and felony evading. The investigation is ongoing.
