[07-10-2026] Riverside County, CA – One Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on Westbound I-10 Near Beaumont Ave.

A two-vehicle crash on westbound Interstate 10 near Beaumont Avenue in Riverside County injured one motorist on Friday, July 10, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision was reported at around 3:10 p.m. and involved a Nissan sedan and a Tesla. All vehicles ended up in the center divider, and a nearby pickup truck was only struck by flying debris.

The Tesla driver was temporarily trapped inside the vehicle but was able to exit through a window.

Riverside County Fire Department crews transported the injured motorist, whose identity has not been released, to a regional trauma center with minor to moderate injuries. No other injuries were reported.

The CHP is investigating the cause of the collision.
