A 79-year-old man sustained serious injuries after being struck by a bicyclist in the North Clairemont neighborhood of San Diego on Saturday morning, July 12, 2025.
According to the San Diego Police Department, the incident occurred shortly before 4:50 a.m. in the 4700 block of Genesee Avenue.
Authorities reported that the man was walking in the bike lane when a bicyclist collided with him. He was transported to a hospital with a skull fracture and brain bleed.
The SDPD Traffic Division is investigating the collision. No additional details have been released.
