Seven people were injured following a four-vehicle crash in Fairfield early Sunday morning, July 13, 2025.
According to the Fairfield Fire Department, the collision occurred on eastbound Interstate 80 near the truck scales. The incident was reported as a “mass casualty incident” in a Facebook post at 4:38 a.m.
Medic Ambulance transported seven individuals to hospitals with injuries ranging from critical to minor, officials said.
