[07-16-2024] Stanislaus County, CA – At Least One Person Injured Following Three-Vehicle Crash Along Highway 99

At least one person was injured following a three-vehicle crash in Stanislaus County on Tuesday afternoon, July 16, 2024.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the traffic incident occurred around 3:35 p.m. on southbound Highway 99 near Jack Tone Road.

Upon arrival, CHP officers found the damaged cars blocking a southbound highway lane. The cause of the collision, including the number of people occupying the three vehicles at the time of the incident, is still unclear.

It was later confirmed that at least one person was injured. That person’s name, age, and gender have not been provided yet, as well as the extent of the injury and their current status. At this time, no other injuries were reported.

Drugs, alcohol, and speeding are currently being investigated as possible factors in the collision. 

Southbound motorists around the area can expect traffic slowdowns north of Jack Tone Road.
