A woman was killed after a pedestrian vs. vehicle collision in San Jose on Thursday evening, July 25, 2024.
According to the San Jose Police Department, the fatal crash happened at about 6:26 p.m. in the area of Tully Road and La Ragione Avenue, near the Nuestra Tierra Community Garden.
Police said that the woman, whose name and age were not disclosed, was walking in the street when she was struck by an unspecified vehicle. She sustained major injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital, where she died.
It is unknown if the driver of the vehicle that struck the victim remained at the scene. The cause of the collision is currently unclear.
