[07-27-2026] Riverside County, CA – One Injured After Crash Involving Big Rig on Eastbound I-10 in Whitewater

One person suffered minor injuries after a collision involving a big rig and another vehicle on the eastbound Interstate 10 in Whitewater, Riverside County, on Monday, July 27, 2026.

According to the Riverside County Fire Department, the crash was reported at around 10 a.m. near the Whitewater off-ramp.

Authorities said the collision caused the big rig’s trailer to overturn and block the No. 4 lane of eastbound I-10. Officials reported there was no hazardous materials spill following the crash.

One person was transported to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries. All lanes were reopened after crews cleared the overturned trailer from the roadway.

The CHP continues to investigate the cause of the collision.
