A motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a truck in Taft on Monday morning, July 28, 2025.
According to the Kern County Fire Department, the crash occurred at approximately 10:42 a.m. in the 1000 block of Kern Street.
Firefighters arrived on scene and located one patient, the motorcyclist, who was pronounced deceased.
The cause of the crash has not yet been determined. Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
