Two pedestrians were killed in a hit-and-run crash in Reedley, Fresno County, early Tuesday morning, July 28, 2026.
According to the Reedley Police Department, the incident occurred at around 4:45 a.m. at the intersection of Manning Avenue and Haney Avenue.
Responding officers immediately provided first aid to an elderly man and an elderly woman, both of whom sustained critical injuries.
The victims, identified as 75-year-old Luis A. and 78-year-old Maria Juarez Me., both of Reedley, were transported to a hospital, where they later died.
Authorities are searching for the vehicle and driver involved in the incident. Investigators are asking anyone with information to contact the Reedley Police Department or Crime Stoppers.
