[07-29-2026] Sacramento County, CA – Two Injured in Motorcycle Vs. Vehicle Crash Near Fruitridge Rd. and 48th St.

Two people were injured in a motorcycle crash involving a passenger vehicle in Sacramento early Wednesday morning, July 29, 2026.

According to the Sacramento Police Department, officers responded to the incident at around 2:15 a.m.near the intersection of Fruitridge Road and 48th Street. 

Authorities said the motorcycle rider sustained major injuries, while a passenger on the motorcycle suffered moderate injuries. Both were transported to a hospital for treatment and are expected to recover.

Police have not released additional details regarding the circumstances leading up to the collision or the occupants of the passenger vehicle.

The Sacramento Police Department continues to investigate the crash.
