[07-30-2024] San Bernardino County, CA – At Least One Person Injured After Multi-Vehicle Crash Involving Bus in Victorville

At least one person was injured after a multi-vehicle crash involving a bus in Victorville on Tuesday afternoon, July 30, 2024. 

According to the Victorville Police Department, the collision happened around 3:54 p.m. at the intersection of D Street and the 15 Freeway.

Police stated that a city bus, a red pickup truck, and a gray SUV were involved in the crash. The total number of people affected by the collision was unclear, but one person sustained serious injuries. The patient was transported to the Victor Valley Global Medical Center for treatment and was subsequently airlifted to a trauma center. 

Firefighters also helped in safely removing a passenger from the bus through a side window. It is unknown if that person was injured. None of the victims were identified. 

The westbound D Street was temporarily closed at Second Street while officials investigated the incident. What caused the collision is currently unclear. 

No additional details were released, and the authorities are gathering all the necessary information to determine the circumstances surrounding the crash.
