A man was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle in Delano on Thursday morning, July 31, 2025.
According to the Delano Police Department, the crash occurred around 9:05 a.m. near the intersection of Main Street and 12th Avenue.
An initial investigation indicated that a female driver was traveling eastbound on 12th Avenue when she struck a male pedestrian.
The victim was airlifted to a nearby hospital for treatment. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
