[08-01-2026] Riverside County, CA – Woman Killed, Man Injured in Rollover Crash in Perris

A woman was killed, and a man was injured in a solo-vehicle rollover crash in Perris on Saturday afternoon, August 1, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported at around 4:10 p.m. on the northbound Escondido (215) Freeway south of Placentia Avenue. 

Witnesses told authorities that a white Jeep overturned and came to rest on its roof, trapping two occupants inside.

Authorities confirmed that a woman died as a result of the crash. A man was transported to a hospital, where he remained on Sunday. Officials have not released the extent of his injuries or the identity of the deceased.

No additional details regarding the cause of the rollover have been released. The investigation remains ongoing.
