A pedestrian was hospitalized after being hit by a vehicle in south Bakersfield on Wednesday night, August 2, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred shortly before 9:30 p.m. on South Union Avenue, just north of Panama Road.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and transported the injured individual to a hospital. The extent of their injuries has not been confirmed.
It is currently unknown whether alcohol or drugs were factors in the crash.
