A crash early Thursday morning caused a closure on a stretch of Highway 26 in San Joaquin County, August 7, 2025.
According to Caltrans District 10, the collision occurred around 6:30 a.m. near North Jack Tone Road. As a result, both directions of Highway 26 are closed between Jack Tone Road and Duncan Road.
Caltrans reported that the closure is expected to last for approximately two hours, and drivers are advised to use alternate routes.
At this time, the number of vehicles involved and the extent of injuries are unclear. Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
