[08-07-2026] San Diego County, CA – Four Children, One Adult Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash in Lemon Grove

Four children and one adult were injured in a two-vehicle crash in Lemon Grove, San Diego County, on Friday morning, August 7, 2026.

According to Heartland Fire & Rescue, the collision was reported shortly before 8 a.m. in the 2500 block of Massachusetts Avenue. Authorities said at least one of the vehicles overturned during the crash.

Four children were transported to Rady Children’s Hospital with injuries of unknown severity. One adult was taken to Sharp Memorial Hospital for treatment. No additional information about their conditions was immediately available.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
