A woman in her 40s was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Oakland on Saturday night, August 8, 2026.
According to reports, the incident occurred near 73rd and Garfield avenues, in front of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church and across from the Oakland Police Department Eastmont Substation.
Authorities described the victim as a woman in her 40s. Further information about her identity or the circumstances leading to the incident was not immediately available.
