A motorcyclist sustained moderate to major injuries in a crash with a truck in San Mateo County on Saturday, August 9, 2025.
According to Cal Fire, the collision occurred on La Honda Road, east of Stage Road.
The motorcyclist was transported by ambulance to a landing zone and then flown by helicopter to a local trauma hospital.
Cal Fire, the San Mateo County Fire Department, the La Honda Fire Brigade, the California Highway Patrol, and the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene.
The incident remains under investigation.
