A man was killed and two others were injured in a Polaris RZR side-by-side off-road vehicle crash in Red Bluff early Saturday morning, August 9, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol’s Redding Communications Center, the incident was reported at 12:45 a.m. on Basler Road, north of State Route 36.
CHP Red Bluff said the driver and one passenger, both men, sustained minor injuries, while a second passenger suffered fatal injuries. The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
Authorities said alcohol is believed to have been a factor in the crash. The incident remains under investigation.
