Several people were injured after a two-vehicle crash outside Gridley in Butte County on Sunday, August 9, 2026.
According to Cal Fire’s Butte County unit, emergency crews responded to the collision in the area of Larkin Road and Clardy Avenue.
Authorities said people were trapped inside their vehicles following the crash.
Firefighters worked to free the trapped occupants before they were transported to a hospital. Authorities did not immediately provide information about the number of people injured or the severity of their injuries.
