[08-13-2024] Riverside County, CA – Child Passenger Injured After Single-Vehicle Crash in Palm Springs

A child passenger was injured after a single-vehicle crash in Palm Springs on Tuesday morning, August 13, 2024.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred shortly after 8:30 a.m. near the intersection of State Route 111 and Overture Drive.

CHP said that a Volvo with a female driver and child passenger, for some reason, slammed into a palm tree and a sign pole near the intersection. The Volvo was the only vehicle involved in the collision.

The child passenger was reportedly transported to a local hospital after sustaining minor injuries. Meanwhile, the woman driving the Volvo did not report any injuries at the scene.
