One person was hospitalized following a two-vehicle crash in Shasta Lake in Shasta County on Thursday evening, August 13, 2026.
According to the Shasta County Sheriff’s Office, the collision occurred around 6:40 p.m. on Shasta Dam Boulevard near Median Avenue. Multiple people were reportedly inside both vehicles at the time of the crash.
Emergency crews found one person unconscious at the scene. The individual was transported to a local hospital for treatment. An update on the person’s condition was not immediately available.
Officials said impairment is among the possible factors being investigated, although it has not been confirmed as a cause.
The Shasta County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the crash.
