A 42-year-old man was killed in a collision between a motorcycle and a vehicle in Hemet on Thursday afternoon, August 14, 2025.
According to the Hemet Police Department, the crash occurred shortly after 12:25 p.m. in the area of Lyon and Eaton avenues.
Authorities said the motorcyclist, identified as Francisco S. of Hemet, was traveling east on Eaton Avenue when he collided with a vehicle traveling south on Lyon Avenue.
Officers found Francisco unresponsive in the roadway. Despite lifesaving efforts by officers and paramedics, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the other vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. Police said impaired driving does not appear to be a factor.
The investigation is ongoing.
