Police are searching for a driver who fled the scene of a hit-and-run crash involving a motorcycle in Pacific Grove on Sunday afternoon, August 17, 2025.
According to the Pacific Grove Police Department, the collision occurred at about 1:57 p.m. in the area of 60 Asilomar Avenue.
Authorities said a newer silver SUV with a blue handicap placard was traveling southbound on Asilomar Avenue when it attempted to make a left turn into a cemetery. The SUV collided with a northbound motorcycle and then left the scene before officers arrived.
The motorcyclist reported minor pain following the crash.
The investigation is ongoing.
