A 20-year-old Delano man, identified as Isaiah D., was killed after a two-vehicle crash on County Road 136 near Delano on Monday afternoon, August 26, 2024.
According to the Kern County Coroner’s Office, the incident occurred around 3:54 p.m. while the man was driving southbound on County Road 136. As he approached County Line Road, another vehicle collided with his car, leading to the fatal crash.
The man was transported to Kern Medical, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The California Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
