At least one person was injured in a two-vehicle crash on State Route 73 in Newport Beach on Thursday morning, August 27, 2026.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred around 7:10 a.m. on southbound SR-73 near MacArthur Boulevard.
Authorities said the crash involved a white work van and a Toyota car. The vehicles blocked the middle lanes of the freeway following the collision.
