[08-28-2026] San Bernardino County, CA – Man Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash in Apple Valley

A 41-year-old man, identified as Cassidy K., was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Apple Valley, San Bernardino County, early Friday morning, August 28, 2026.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, deputies responded shortly after 1:00 a.m. to the 19000 block of Outer Highway 18 South.

Investigators determined that an eastbound vehicle struck a man in the roadway. Authorities said the driver left the scene without stopping to check on the injured pedestrian.

The victim was transported to St. Mary Medical Center, where he later died from his injuries. Authorities have not released a description of the vehicle or driver involved.
