A male pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle in San Jose on Monday night, August 31, 2026.
According to the San Jose Police Department, officers received a report of the incident at around 8:08 p.m. in the area of Vista Park and Branham Lane.
The pedestrian was transported to a hospital for treatment, where he later died from his injuries. Authorities have not yet released his identity.
Police said the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
The investigation remains ongoing.
