One person died, and multiple passengers were injured after a three-vehicle collision in Sacramento County on Sunday evening, September 1, 2024.
According to the Rio Vista Fire Department, the crash occurred just after 5:00 p.m. on Highway 160 near Sherman Island Road and involved three vehicles: a white Toyota SUV, a maroon Ford F-150, and a dark-colored SUV, possibly black.
The collision left one vehicle blocking the road, another down an embankment, and the third in the water. The California Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
