A 33-year-old pedestrian sustained fatal injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Laguna Beach on Thursday morning, September 5, 2024.
According to the Laguna Beach Police Department, the collision occurred around 5:00 a.m. in the 20600 block of Laguna Canyon Road, just south of the 73 toll road and near Laguna Coast Wilderness Park.
The man was reportedly crossing the road outside of a crosswalk when he was hit. He was pronounced dead at the scene, and his identity has not yet been released.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
