A hit-and-run crash involving two vehicles sent an SUV into a building in northwest Fresno on Sunday afternoon, September 6, 2026.
According to the Fresno Police Department, the collision occurred around 4:05 p.m. near Ashlan and Marty Avenues.
Police said a white Honda sedan swerved into the left lane and struck the rear of a gray Hyundai SUV that was stopped at a traffic light. The impact pushed the Hyundai into a nearby building.
Authorities said the driver of the Honda fled the scene on foot following the collision. Police had not located the driver as of the latest report.
No injuries were reported in the crash. Officials also said the building did not sustain structural damage.
The authorities continue to investigate the hit-and-run collision.
