A motorcyclist sustained major injuries after being struck by a black sedan in Bakersfield on Sunday morning, September 8, 2024.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred at approximately 11:41 a.m. in the northbound lanes of Highway 99, just south of Rosedale Highway.
The motorcyclist was down in the roadway for a period of time before being transported to a nearby hospital with major injuries.
