According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred just before 6:30 a.m. between Trancas Street and Hardman Avenue, prompting a closure of the road.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, but their identity and the cause of the crash have not yet been released. The road was reopened at 9:40 a.m.
