A child sustained injuries after a vehicle crashed into a Boost Mobile store on Mangrove Avenue in Chico on Friday afternoon, September 19, 2025.
According to police, the crash occurred around 1:10 p.m. The vehicle, traveling northbound, veered off the road, struck the child walking on the sidewalk, and then collided with the business.
The child was transported to a hospital and is receiving treatment, with an initial prognosis described as promising. No other injuries were reported.
