A pedestrian was killed after being struck by two separate vehicles in San Jacinto on Friday evening, September 20, 2024.
Deputies from the San Jacinto Sheriff’s Station responded to the scene at around 8:35 p.m., where they located the victim in the roadway on the Ramona Expressway west of Lyon Avenue.
The San Jacinto Traffic Reconstruction Team took over the investigation and determined that the pedestrian was walking in traffic lanes when the collision occurred. Both drivers remained at the scene and are cooperating with the investigation.
Alcohol and drugs do not appear to be factors in the incident. The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending notification to the next of kin.
