A woman was critically injured after being struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run collision at MacArthur Boulevard and East Coast Highway in Newport Beach on Monday night, September 29, 2025.
According to the Newport Beach Police Department, officers were dispatched around 10:25 p.m. and found the woman lying in the roadway. Paramedics transported her to a trauma center, where she was listed in critical condition.
Police reported that the vehicle involved fled the scene, and its identity is unknown. Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
