A hit-and-run collision involving at least two vehicles occurred near the unincorporated community of Chualar in Monterey County on Tuesday morning, September 29, 2026.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported at around 6:25 a.m. on Chualar Road west of Lincoln Street.
A photo released by CHP showed at least two damaged vehicles at the scene, including one that had overturned.
Information about possible injuries and the vehicle involved in the hit-and-run was not immediately available.
The investigation is ongoing.
