Two people were left in critical condition after a major crash involving two vehicles in south Sacramento on Tuesday morning, October 1, 2024.
According to authorities, the crash occurred just after 6:30 a.m. near the intersection of Amherst Street and Meadowview Road.
The circumstances leading to the crash remain unclear, but reports indicate that an SUV and a pickup truck were involved, both sustaining significant damage.
Sacramento Fire Department crews responded to the scene and had to extricate the occupants of both vehicles.
The injured individuals were transported to a nearby hospital, where they remain in critical condition.
