A woman suffered minor to moderate injuries after a car crashed into a home in Bakersfield early Saturday morning, October 4, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 1:46 a.m. in the 1900 block of Gage Street.
Thomas G. Jr., 22, was driving a 2024 Honda Accord when he lost control and collided with the residence. Thomas reportedly ran from the scene, but witnesses helped officers locate and arrest him. The injured woman was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. No other injuries were reported.
Gonzalez was booked at Lerdo Jail on charges of felony DUI causing injury and felony hit-and-run, with bail set at $420,000. He is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday afternoon.
Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
